There will be four different categories; 3 to 5yrs, 6 to 9yrs, 10 to 12yrs and 13 to 16yrs. Rosettes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category. The theme of this year’s art exhibition is ‘The Queens Diamond Jubilee’ and all pieces of art will be displayed in our Jubilee Tea Room on the afternoon of the Hoolie.

Here are some things you need to know:

  • The piece of art must be no bigger the A3 (420mm x 297mm).
  • You may use any kind of medium to create your piece i.e. mosaic, water colour, paint, pencils, collage etc.
  • Entries must be handed into the Killearn Church Hall on Friday 15th June 2012 between 4pm and 8pm. A slip will be provided for your details.
  • Judging will take place on the morning of the Hoolie and the judge’s decision is final.
  • Entries must be collected between 3.30pm and 4pm on the afternoon of the Hoolie 16th June 2012.

Car Parking

Car parking at the Killearn Hoolie will be very limited. There will also be no parking in front of the Mulberry Bush Kindergarten or the Old Mill Inn. The Hoolie committee would strongly encourage everyone living within the village to walk to the Glebe.

The Hoolie Bank

The Hoolie Bank will be open for one day only!

Most of the children’s stalls cost only 50p each – we will be running an exchange bank where parents can purchase a number of 50p tokens which can be used on a variety of stalls.

Hoolie Tokens can be used at any stall displaying this sign.

Tug Of War

If you would like to enter a team into the Tug of War please contact Grace Shaw at: shawgrace@aol.com

Why don’t you look back at the short films made about the Hoolie in 2010, by the then Primary 4 class?
