The Killearn Hoolie is a week-long, bi-annual village event – or rather a series of events.  Its main aims are to bring all ages and generations together, to engender community spirit and – most importantly – to have lots of fun!

The week will kick off on Saturday 7th June 2014 with the Killearn 10K and Hoolie Fun Run.  Then, later that afternoon, it’s on to the Killearn Beer Festival @ The Hoolie held in The Old Mill car park, to sample some of the finest local real ales and cider.

On Sunday 8th June it’s time to look for the clues in the very popular village Treasure Hunt and – new to the Hoolie – a family friendly ceilidh to be known as the ‘Wee Fling’!

Throughout the week local organisations will be staging their own events, so keep your eyes peeled and the whole strammash finishes on Saturday 14th June 2014 with the Killearn Hoolie Gala Day and The Final Fling on the Glebe.
